LOCATION: Germiston, Roodekop

REPORTING TO: Finance Manager

JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: The incumbent will be responsible to perform financial functions related to the recording and analysis of financial information, ensuring accurate reporting of company results. To analyse and report on key financial data within the organisation ensuring that management receives timely and accurate information.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Preparation of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payablesreportsfor treasury
  • Reconciliation of foreign payments and foreign age analysis
  • Capturing and reconciling of transporters invoices
  • Reconciliation of third-party payments for payroll
  • Variance analysis on cash flow
  • Opening of vendor accounts
  • Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
  • Manage staff debtors accounts
  • Assist in preparationofBU FinComs presentations
  • Responsible for submission and follow up oninsuranceclaims
  • PR / PO creation amendments
  • Run settlements for capex
  • Assist in preparation of tax schedules
  • Completion and submission of STATS SA Survey
  • Responsible for petty cash and processing of transactions
  • Assist with audits, month-end, and year-end activities
  • Any other adhoc duties

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12
  • BComdegreeor equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 -5Years’related work experience
  • SAP experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Capability to work with numbers and numerical concepts
  • Problem-solving &analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
  • Has good written and verbal communication
