POSITION: Training Instructor (Plant)
BUSINESS UNIT: Moolmans
LOCATION: Northern Cape (Kolomela Mine)
REPORTING TO: Training Manager
JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: Responsible to co-ordinate/deliver training and training administer in line with operating group and site requirements.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Implement and maintain the HRD quality management system
- Co-ordinate delivery of training and competency assessments
- Train as per training matrix
- Develop, maintain and update training manuals
- Maintain quality in training delivery
- Develop and implement facilitators manuals, capability assessments, workplace competency assessments and customize training material for sites
- Generate reports with regards to training
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12
- MQA Accredited Assessor and moderator
- Facilitator/ Train the Trainer Certificate
- OEM Certificates of Courses attended.
- Blasting Ticket will be an advantage
EXPERIENCE:
- MQA Skills Programknowledge and experience
- SETA & Unit Standard knowledge
- Classroom environment teaching & facilitating experience
- Opencast mobile equipment experience (mechanical experience would be advantageous)
- Be able to conduct quality Service and Maintenance training on all equipment.
- At least one year of related work experience (other jobs that prepared you for this job).
- Valid drivers license
- No criminal record

- Excellent MS Office Skills
- Presentation Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous, detailed, well-organized, and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Can perform well in a high-pressure environment.
