Klipbank was an open cut strip mine situated approximately 20km outside of Middelburg in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa.
The mine consisted of three pits that were quite far apart, making a round trip of the mining area some 15km. Moolmans was responsible for load, haul and dump of all ore and waste across all three pits. Rehabilitation also formed part of the contract.
