Alamoutala was an open pit gold mine located in south west Mali and owned by AngloGold Ashanti, IamGold and the government of Mali.
The Moolmans contract required that 0.7 million tonnes of material was moved per month.
The Alamoutala open pits are now mined out and formed part of the client’s Yatela operations.
